The knowledge about "Crystal structures and properties" in high school chemistry textbook is like a bridge between macroscopic substances and microscopic molecules such as atomic structure, which can help students to develop systematic and complete view of the structure of material. Therefore it plays an important role in the high school chemistry teaching. Students need to construct the relationship between different knowledge because the content about "Crystal structures and properties" shows strong logic feature. The present situation is that most students rarely build their own knowledge networks, and they are not good at understanding and organizing relative knowledge from different angles and multiple levels, which cause difficulty in learning these parts.To make knowledge structured means to make it exist as the formation of knowledge chunks according to the association and common characteristics among the knowledge that we learned, thus forming a good structure of those knowledge. The purpose of promoting knowledge structured is to help students to form a good cognitive structure, to remember and retrieve information extraction, to learn about the links between knowledge, and offer assistant while learning related content about "Crystal structures and properties".In this study, first we combed through the literature, and made a review about researches on making knowledge structured and the teaching of "Crystal structures and properties" in high school. By studying the relevant data, we summarized the teaching strategies of structured knowledge about "Crystal structures and properties". On this basis, the teaching pieces of relevant content were designed through the analyzing of the teaching content about it.In practice studies, a questionnaire survey was conducted on students’ understanding of the chemical structure and the grasp degree of "Crystal structures and properties", followed by investigation and analyzation. After that a structured teaching in exercise class of "Crystal structures and properties" was implemented. We focused on the analyzing of actual teaching results. The conclusion showed that the structured teaching process of knowledge about "Crystal structures and properties" can facilitate the construction of knowledge networks in the minds of students, which offered great help for students to learn that part of knowledge.
