High school chemistry research is a macroscopic material of the object, the research mainly from the material composition and structure of the materials and substances and change the properties of two aspects, the composition and structure of the materials determines the nature of the material. Due to the crystal structure itself is abstract, at this stage of high school students grasp and understanding of abstract concepts and relatively difficult, use existing in the teaching of multimedia teaching makes the micro crystal structure in the form of more image display in the classroom teaching is the need to solve the problem. This article first to the existing high school chemistry crystal structure and nature of teaching present situation analysis, and then refer to all kinds of literature and comprehensive analysis of the existing teaching conditions, on the basis of selection of the crystal structure of simple and easy to use, but professional production software involved in the DIAMOND to construct the teaching material of common crystal crystal structure, the image and the micro crystal structure can be converted to a specific symbolic language, and will build the crystal structure in the form of multimedia applied in teaching practice, strengthen the students knowledge of crystal structure, expand the space of imagination, so as to improve the learning efficiency, improve the students' chemical literacy, lay a foundation for students to go into related fields.This article mainly elaborated from the following four chapters:the first chapter is the introduction, the author first of all, starting from the background of research questions, and then through the literature is pointed out that the value and significance of research, thus put forward the research content and methods; The second chapter around for DIAMOND application in practical teaching, this part the author introduces the concept of DIAMOND, and crystal structure related, and then points out that in the teaching of crystal structure and properties of DIAMOND software need to solve the problem, finally and use the software construction materials in four kinds of common crystal: atomic crystals, molecular crystal, the crystal structure of ionic crystal and metal crystal; The third chapter for the DIAMOND software in the teaching of crystal structure and properties of the empirical analysis, the author first analyze the teaching material of teaching content, and then according to the teaching outline and combining the DIAMOND, the software design of the corresponding case teaching and empirical teaching; In the fourth chapter is summary and outlook, comprehensive analysis of the entire study and put forward their views.
