"Innovation is the soul of the nation". Since the 21st century, China’s mathematics education facing the implementation of the task of "innovative education". On the other hand, pay attention to the mathematics education of "double-base" and the Chinese traditional features, we need to inherit and carry forward, the ideal high quality mathematics education is "double-base+ innovation". The emergence of open mathematics questions, it is the organic combination of productive a carrier. Refers to the open mathematics questions the answer is not the only, and in the mode of rhetorical questions asked the students to the various, multi-angle, multi-level to explore mathematical problems. Open mathematics problem solving ability refers to the mathematical knowledge, the skills in mathematics, mathematical thinking ability to solve open mathematics questions. In mathematics teaching, one of the important role is to help students be familiar with and master mathematics knowledge, developing students’ intelligence.Through the study found that the current primary school in solving many problems in the open mathematics questions, mainly include:1.Primary school students lack of confidence and interest in mathematics learning;2.The understanding of the characteristics of open questions at the primary school students is not comprehensive;3.The pupils don’t open the questions about life diligently active thinking.Therefore, to the elementary school mathematics teacher in training pupils open problem solving ability when teaching put forward the following Suggestions:1.Set up good classroom teaching intrinsic culture;2.According to different students take different strategies;3.Different teaching contents need to have our priorities;4.In terms of generating the learning ability of students still need to work.In a word, research to improve the current primary school mathematics problem solving ability to open teaching strategy has very important significance, which is to overcome the elementary school students solve the difficulties of open mathematics questions.
