"Inland Xinjiang class", refers to the class intended for Xinjiang students’ studying in the inland high school in an economically developed city. The outstanding junior high school graduates are selected from Xinjiang to the mainland for study. The length of studying in the inland Xinjiang class is four years, including one year of preparatory course class and three years of senior high school. In the first year of study, what is the most urgent thing for the students is adapting to everything, such as climate, diet habit, social culture, the relationship between teachers and students, teaching mode, ways of thinking and so on. All of these differences will bring difficulties to the students. To some degree, they may cause some problems like the fatigue, anxiety, loneliness, resist and depression status, sometimes even cause physiological diseases. The current methods often used in the inland Xinjiang class to deal with these problems are visits, lectures, counseling etc. Although to certain extent these methods can promote the students’ adaptation to the new environment, the limit of time, space and social role constraints as well as the poor sustainability will affect the results of these methods, and can not effectively arouse the students’ subjective initiative motivation. As a result, it failed to fundamentally solve the problem.Based on the above issues, the information technology Blog will be applied in this research to explore the function of the new technology in the process of preparatory students’ acculturation. The study, which adopts the method of experimental study, firstly established a personal Blog and a class Blog circle. Then, data will be collected through the analysis of the Blog platform’s data and content, the combination of observing the teachers and interviewing the students, questionnaires and many other various methods. Thirdly, the author will explore and analyze the three dimensions of the Blog in the promotion of preparatory students’ cultural adaptation:effects of social culture, learning, psychology as well as the effects of gender. Then, problems will be shown in the implementation process and the theory will be perfected further. The one-semester-long study shows that the use of Blog can help speed up the preparatory class students’ acculturation processes and can balance the students’ knowledge and skills, which are conducive to narrowing the gap between the individual acculturation. It also can promote the different acculturation effects caused by gender. From a long-term perspective, using Blog to promote the inland Xinjiang students’ acculturation is conducive to the implementation of "intelligence aid Xinjiang"and national unity. The whole research is conducted among the preparatory students. Therefore, the conclusion of the study can provide some reference for managers of other related research. At the same time, because the research cycle is short, the author failed to construct a more perfect system of assessment. The following study needs to be further advanced.
