Physical concept teaching occupies a pivotal position in physics teaching. This paper summarized the relevant literature, combing the theory research status of schema and teaching physics concept, then describes the schema theory. On this basis, this paper research physics teaching from the perspective of the concept of cognitive psychology for example, junior optics concept. Using concept map test check changes of students’schema before and after physical concept learning to research students learn the characteristics of the physical concept.The study found that students in learning new concepts conceptual schema has been effectively improved; students schema has been improved by recitation and practice; students were significantly different schema on different schools and classes, but there was no significant gender differences; student test scores and schemata get no correlation; prep circumstances of students did not affect the long-term effects of learning physics concepts. On the basis of research on student learning physics concepts, the paper present some suggestions:teachers should know that classroom for students to acquire and improve schemata is significant; teachers should be good at discovering and using the original schema, make it better promote student access to and improving the schema; teachers should focus on students’ conceptual understanding of physics during practice, and so on.
