Considering that Multi-ethnic unity closely concerns the local region’s stability and development, school, as the main education front of ethnic unity, should shoulder its responsibility to carry out national unity education through a variety of ways. The feature of moral lesson also determines that ethnic unity education be activated during the teaching procedure. The author has obtained an overall perspective of the current ethnic education situation in school and moral class in particular via the first-person teaching experience in a county school, which is located in Guide County of Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province. With the author’s keen observation, the feedbacks of current situation and corresponding suggestions for improvement are to be put forward in this thesis from the perspective of moral lesson conduction.Firstly, on the basis of defining the relevant core concepts, this thesis points out that the objective necessity of national unity education in a multi-ethnic region derives not only from the need for stability and development of multi-ethnic region, but also the urgency to improve the students’ ability to make fair judgment and fulfill self-development. Secondly, through the questionnaires for students and interview with teachers, the author concludes the underlying problems in this region. Finally, according to the above problems, the author has put forward corresponding targeted strategies to strengthen the effectiveness of moral class teaching, to enhance the theoretical level of moral class teachers, to establish the second class of ethnic unity education, which all serves to improve the final effect of education on national unity.The national unity education in moral class contains both necessity and also feasibility. The moral class teachers have every reason to fully explore and develop the advantages of this discipline to help students set up fair national concept and consciously safeguard their own national unity.
