With the advent of the information age education, the development of educational technology is rapidly. Using the modern education technology to promote education reform and development of all types and at all levels, has become a main trend of education reform in the world countries and a basic consensus in the international education. International education will have such a consensus, because the essence of modern educational technology is the use of technical means, especially the information technology to optimize the process of education teaching, thereby to improve education teaching in effect, benefit and efficiency goals. As a foundation course, Information technology plays a very important role In the process of information technology in education, therefore, the information technology curriculum gradually covered by the compulsory courses. However, in the process of the information technology teaching is faced with some problems:the traditional way of teaching is no longer suitable for students of the information environment, therefore, to adapt to the times and the new teaching method of students gradually was introduced into the classroom. Visualization tool of thinking-mind mapping is a tool to represent knowledge and thinking, this study combines mind mapping and information technology course of Flash, aims to optimize the current teaching of Flash, promote the development of thinking quality, such as analysis, flexibility and innovation, and cultivate students’ ability of overall design.Firstly, the paper analyzes the research background, significance, research status at home and abroad and expounds the current research situation of mind mapping, and points out the research contents and research objectives of this study; Then, under the guidance of brain science theory, schema theory and group dynamics theory, the study use questionnaire investigation, interview method and experimental approach in the teaching experiment, respectively in the experimental class teaching with mind mapping and comparative class with the traditional way of teaching; After that, the paper have a teaching effect analysis for the mind map in the information technology teaching implementation, it is concluded that the conclusion of this study:using mind maps in the Flash teaching is conducive to the improvement of learning interest, learning motivation, thinking quality and work achievement; Finally, the paper analysis and summary the problems in the experimental study, points out that the problems should be paid attention, and has an outlook to the application of visualization tool of thinking in the teaching research.
