Science is a combination knowledge between rational thinking and empirical. As a branch of science, Chemistry plays a very important role in improving students’ scientific literacy. Experiment is the soul of Chemistry, and is the foundation of the formation and development of chemical science. The inquiry and the method of the chemistry experiment itself, can enable students to understand the process of scientific inquiry, to solve the problem in Chemistry method. Chemical experiment teaching is to by means of experimental instruments to help students understand the teaching content, improve teaching quality and effective. Thus, chemical experimental teaching skills is one of the core ability of chemistry teacher, It is mainly to achieve a good measure of innovation and quality education in Chemistry."Experimental study on chemistry teaching theory" course is a compulsory course in the chemical teacher education curriculum group, based the basic chemical knowledge of the experimenter has and basic experimental skills(intellectual skills, operational skills), focus on training and cultivate their independence, the basic experimental teaching, and research skills in the middle school chemistry experiment teaching. However, under the system of class teaching, in the course of the implementation process, sometimes, we have more learners, but lack of guidance, while higher teaching requirements, the limited amount of time, finally lead to the teaching goal is difficult to implement.In this paper, through the following three parts with five chapters to carry on the detailed study.The first part is the introduction part, namely the first chapter. At the beginning, through systematic analysis of the domestic foreign periodicals, papers, monographs, textbooks and policy documents, to tease out the background and research status of the performance assessment and "Experimental study on chemistry teaching theory", introduces the contents and methods, the purpose and significance of the research, all of this, in order to illustrate the necessity of introducing performance assessment in this course.The second part is the body part, namely the second to the fourth chapter.The second chapter through explore the performance assessment concept, theoretical basis, the structure and performance assessment scale, to explain the feasibility of designing and developing performance assessment tool.The third chapter clarifies the "elements" skills in chemistry experiment teaching which pre-service chemistry teachers should master. With the help of PTA scale method and expert consultation method, design as the foundation of training objectives of the "study on chemistry teaching experiment" course, teaching methods, the physical and psychological characteristics of learners’ evaluation scale:before class:" middle school chemistry experiment teaching preparation check list ", in the class:" Simulate the middle school chemistry experiment teaching rating scale ", after class:" The computer version of experiment report evaluation scale ",This chapter not only provide demonstration, explain the cause of setting, introduce the method of using, and the matters need to attention, also analyze and summarize the evaluation results.The fourth chapter will use this three designed scales in six experimental teaching process, and through the form of questionnaire and informal interview to demonstrate the design is effective or not.The third part is the conclusion part, namely the fifth chapter. Through the feedback and reflection on the design of the scales, sum up the innovation points and deficiencies. First, performance assessment is fit for Pre-service science teacher teaching skill training; Second, scale can improve the teaching skills; Third, appropriate to reduce the requirements for beginners.
