This paper employs the qualitative method, and the content of the research includes two parts:①investigation on the current situation of assessment of student’s academic performance of high school chemistry experiment in the new curriculum reform;②strategy research on the reform of assessment of student’s academic performance of chemistry experiment. The first part has three investigations:①investigation on teacher’s conceptions of assessment of students’academic performance;②investigation on teachers’ approaches to experiment teaching;③investigation on the current situation of students’ experiment learning. It selects six chemistry teachers and twelve students of G school which is one of the provincial key middle schools as research sample of the investigations. Based on the results of three investigations through the systematical analysis of the original data, we can hold the situation of academic assessment of senior chemistry. And the results of the interview data analysis will be used as the bases of the second research. Taking the experiment of "preparing the solution of the certain amount of substance concentration" in the first compulsory module of high school chemistry as an example, it discusses the organic combination of primary trait analysis scale, portfolio evaluation and evaluation of chemistry experiment. The paper consists of seven chapters. The first chapter is the introduction of this research, which focus on the the significance of research theme selection. The second chapter is literature review, it combs the evolution history of academic assessment at home and abroad, grasps the development vein, analyze the characteristics of assessment of student’s academic performance of senior chemistry in the new curriculum reform, builds the research’s dimensions:evaluation objective, content, method and subject of student’s academic performance. The third chapter is about the theoretical basis of the paper, and the forth part is about research method. The fifth chapter is about the study of the current situation of assessment of student’s academic performance of high school chemistry experiment. In details, it discusses the the whole design of the investigation, results of three investigation. The sixth chapter introduces two kinds of evaluation method——Primary Trait Analysis and Portfolio Evaluation. The first evaluation method includes the design of PTA scale, example analysis and its employment advices. According to the vein of pre-experiment, experiment and post-experiment, the latter introduces three kinds of chemistry files: preview cards file, experiment notes file and experiment reflection activities file, which is the basis of portfolio evaluation scale of high school chemistry experiments. The last chapter is conclusion and prospect, which is mainly about the review of research results and the limitations of the research and the issues for further studies.
