| If physics teachers in middle school neglect the former concepts in students during their teaching, it will lead to the fact that students not only can not grasp the new knowledge totally but also will mix up the new knowledge with the old ones. Therefore, the key point effective physics teaching is to help student correct the wrong former concepts in their mind, then they will comprehend the physical concept correctly.Based on the concept transformation theory and cognitive psychological learning theory, this paper select three concepts in eight grade physical mechanical part of People’s Education Press:the action of force is mutual, the relationship of force and motion and inertia as research content, and select two comparable classes students who come from Shajing Middle School in Shenzhen as research subjects. The research procedures are as follows:First, pretest paper is employed to test the incorrect former concepts in students’ mind when the research subjects and content are confirmed. Then, concepts transformation teaching method is conducted to design teaching procedures according to the results of pretest, and the researcher analyze the subjects based on the cognitive learning theory, and then begin to teach.Then, the researcher pays more attention to the transform the incorrect former concepts in students’ mind and to teach in experimental class. However, the just knowledge teaching is emphasized in the control class. After class, immediate post-test is conducted in order to get the transformation of the former concepts in students’mind in these two classes. Consequently, the effects of the two different teaching methods are compared. After several days, delayed post-test is employed to analyze the transformation of the former concepts in students’mind.Finally, according to the results of pretest, immediate postOtest and delayed post-test, there is no significant difference on the former concepts in students’ mind. That indicates that class teaching plays an important effect on parts of students’ concepts transformation. As a result, the concepts teaching method in nowadays is inefficient and circumscribed. In order to improve students’ physics concepts learning proficiency effectively, this study try to employ micro video to help students change their incorrect concepts. Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of micro video teaching abroad and demonic, this paper select the recording mode "khan academy" and based on the actual situation of Shajing Middle School students by case analysis method to explore the employment of micro video in former concept teaching, and also to search an effective teaching method than can realize the concept transformation in the information technology environment. The results of this paper are as follows:First of all, the transformation of former concepts teaching method can improve students’ physics learning proficiency. It is mainly because, during teaching in experimental class, the teacher pays more attention to guide the students realized that their opinion is inconsistent with the fact, and point out the reason when they are confused, and then present the correct concepts.Then, according to the results in the questionnaire and the results of post-test and delayed post-test, there is significant difference in the experimental class students. These results suggest that the effect of transformation of former concept teaching method is limited by students’learning situation, such as their learning habit, learning attitude and learning strategies and so on.And then, the former concepts in students’ mind are the main reason that students think physics is difficult for them to learn. Therefore, teachers should know students’ former concepts clearly, especially the incorrect former ones, by questionnaire, interview, pictures and other effective methods. And they should employ many teaching methods greatly and pay attention to trigger students’cognitive conflict and to guide them construct the new concepts with the old ones.Finally, due to the fact that recording content of micro video is from easy stage to difficult one, micro video teaching method is helpful for students to learn individually and help them check the weak point of their concepts. As a result, students can check their learning content when they learn physics by themselves. However, online learning is idealized for middle school students because they have not formed the learning habits that learn physics online by themselves. Therefore, combine the face-to-face teaching and online learning is the most suitable method for the students to learn physics. |
