Mathematics is the quantitative relations and spatial forms of reality in the world of science, that is the study of the science of "number" and "form", which "shape" refers to geometry knowledge. Elementary mathematics knowledge of graphics "is the primary school" graphics and geometry "is one of the most important part, the geometry of the foundation for further learning. Understanding of graphics teaching is conducive to training students’ logical thinking, to shape the image of their thinking, and the formation of the concept of space, enhance the ability of cognition. In educational research, at present in China for mathematics teaching "graphics" of understanding research mainly concentrated in the junior high school students, even in the elementary school mathematics teaching research are mainly concentrated in primary school in the second period, on the first primary school section "graphics" teaching and research is relatively small. In terms of educational practice, teachers pay attention to the number and algebra teaching, teaching pattern to despise. Therefore, this paper tries to explore Xi’an Yanta District, the first primary school students on "knowledge of graphics" teaching situation, analysis may be factors that affect the teaching and puts forward the feasible strategy, in order for teachers teaching reference.This paper divides into five chapters altogether.In the first chapter puts forward the background and the significance of the study,and has try to the analysis different from China to abroad in recent years, research goal, direction and research method. the second chapter will introduce the study supports of the theory basis of this research and the preparation work to thinking.The third chapter is presents the process of the research and result of the research that be divided into two parts to present the result of study.The first part is the result of the investigation of the exposition and there is three points:first, primary school mathematics of the first stage of students basic knowledge is very good in the city of Xi’an,but the ability of solve problem and thought expand the problems must to be improved. Second, there is no difference between boys and girls.Third,there is exist difference from the different school in the "graphics Understanding " teaching. The second part expounds the results of the interview are: first, the class operating activities less time. Second, students are not good mathematics learning habits. Third, teacher uesd to adopting the traditional way of teaching in class, Finally on the basis of the results of the survey and the interview analysis put forward the elementary school mathematics in the first period of "graphic" teaching factors, It mainly has different requirements for teaching the nature of the school teaching management, the influence of teachers’ teaching ideas and teaching methods of teaching and the effect of students’ non-intelligence factors and the influence of family education environment for teaching, through the analysis of the factors influencing the proposed to improve the primary school in the first period of "graphic" teaching strategy. Improved strategy mainly from the aspects of schools, teachers, students, family four improvements.
