Regional sustainable development is one of core contents of the high school geography teaching, the parts of regional sustainable development is to cultivate students to set up the concept of sustainable development and prompt students to realize comprehensive development, guided as ideology of sustainable development, based on man-land relationship as the main line, focus the current problems on the resources, environment and development as the core of teaching contents. This paper is regard the teaching strategy of regional sustainable development in new curriculum standard as the research target, and analysis of the goals and standard in regional sustainable development contents in new curriculum standard of high school as the starting point of research, and based geographical science theory, the teaching strategy related theories and other theories as the theoretical basis, I try to integrate the geographic study basic dimensions into geography teaching strategies, then design some relevant instructional designs and apply to high school geography class in order to detect the effect. In the process of research, some research methods such as documentary research method, case study method, action research method, questionnaires method and interviewing method are mainly adopted.In this paper, the research is divided into six sections, based on the teaching strategy of regional sustainable development in new curriculum standard. The introduction part includes the background and significance of the topic, the study of domestic and foreign teaching strategies and the teaching requirements about the new curriculum standard of regional sustainable development at home and aboard, and consist of the research method and research feasibility. The second section presents major about the theoretical basis of teaching strategy of the regional sustainable development in new curriculum standard, which includes the theoretical basis of geographical science, namely relevant knowledge of "the scientific research dimension, the value research dimension and the ethical research dimension", theory analysis of teaching strategy and other theories. The third section is mainly to know Three-dimensional course target of regional sustainable development in high school new curriculum standard and analyze its contents from three basic dimensions of geography studies which are the scientific research dimension, the value research dimension and the ethical research dimension. The fourth section is to propose the specific teaching strategies of regional sustainable development in new curriculum standard by "the scientific research dimension, the value research dimension and the ethical dimension", and to establish the system of the teaching ideas of regional sustainable development. The fifth section is to design a specific teaching example based on the teaching strategies of regional sustainable development in new curriculum standard, using "Resource Development and Regional Sustainable Development" as a teaching design example practicing in high school geography class and to test the effectiveness of teaching strategies through questionnaires with students and interviews with teachers. The last part summarizes the research, and put forward the problems existing in the research and further thinking and advice on this topic.
