With the development of society and economy, scholars and experts have been paying more attention to the development of teachers’ specialites, deepen(strengthen) the educational reform for our national education department①.1980’ theme was the development of teachers’ specialities, which reflected how much were the teachers qualities and their development expected.And the development of teachers’ specialities became the tendency and trend of the teachers’ specialication and educational reform.The study mainly includes three : firstly city both in high school development conduct a comprehensive sampling survey of mathematics teacher’s professional in Qujing city of two high school; Secondly, through classroom observation and communication after class, and further understand the basic situation of high school mathematics teacher’s teaching in qujing city;Again, conduct a case study, select three teachers to make, a further study and the choice of the three study fully consider factors such as representative of the school age, gender,. Source material are written in three teachers "professional life".The main conclusion is of this research: the qujing city economic and technological development zone of high school mathematics teachers’ subjective perception of their own professional development situation is good; Mathematics teachers’ own professional development "self-taught learning and teaching reflection after teaching" is the most important source way of teachers’ professional development; Other five sources way having a moderate impact,according to its contribution are in turn: "my daily communication with colleagues ", " various teaching and researching activities of schools", "learning when as a student", "cooperation and mutual help between colleagues", "various organized professional training"; "Self-study learning" is the most ideal way of professional development which teachers expect.Other development approaches are also modest expectations, the order of: "communication, cooperation and mutual assistance between colleagues ", "further study of improving the degree", "their own teaching practice and reflection", "teaching and researching activities organized school", "professional training learning".In Qujing city economic and technological development zone high school mathematics teachers regard themselves as the main depending strength for professional development, and consider the main form of development is still learning, but are very eager to get communication, cooperation and mutual aid between colleagues, and the further study of improving the degree. High school mathematics teacher’s professional development in our country does not receive the attention the deserve, the results are also very few. To this group to carry out the investigation and study has important practical significance,in qujing economic and technological development zone high school mathematics teachers’ professional development has a very rich areas need to research and discuss.
