Factors Affecting The Attractiveness Of Sports Clubs In Colleges And Universities In Xi'an And Kunming And Comparative Study

As one of the important organization to promote the development of campus culture, sports clubs in colleges and universities provide a practice platform for the students who use sports knowledge and sports exercise technology to improve their health, quality and comprehensive ability. With the expansion of enrollment in college,the relative shortage of school resources and the employment competition pressure for students, the sports clubs encounter many problem such as less people participate than before, the volunteers don’t work actively, the organizations can’t survive a long time and so on.As for the above situation, this study researches the present organizational attraction situation and the influential factors of the sports clubs in Shanxi Normal University,Xi’an University of Technology,Yunnan Normal University and Kunming University of Technology,by using the Management, the School Physical Education and Organizational Behavior as the theoretical basis, and by collecting data,doing questionnaire survey and looking into the individual as the methods. It draws the conclusion that the teachers and students in Kunming is more satisfied with extracurricular sports clubs than the teachers and students in Xi’an. The main internal factors affect Kunming’s college sports clubs are organizational goals, leader’s charisma, teamwork,independence and fitness principles of the organization. The external factors are organization system, setting of the project,arrangement of the duty,autonomous management,rules and regulations of the organization. The internal factor affect Xi’an’s college sports clubs are fitness principles,organizational goals,good communication,leader’s charisma and teamwork of the organization. The external factors are propaganda,guarantee,setting of the project,system of the organization, charge and facility condition.The study has shown that the main factors affect the sports club’s organizational attraction are goal,system,project,funds and propaganda of the organization. This dissertation which bases on the situation and problem above comes up with some constructive suggestions for promoting the organizational attraction in college sports clubs, and aim to provide some reference for the development of the sports clubs both in Xi’an and Kunming.
