A Study On The Practical Work Of Social Work Intervening In The Rural Left - Behind Old People

With the population aging process in China to speed up the traditional family pension function weaken the growing elderly care service has become a major social problem. Especially in rural areas, due to the "Flood" the persistence of rural young labor force exodus of increasing the number of elderly left behind in rural areas,accompanied by a large number of rural and elderly left behind from the elderly left behind is serious pension problem.In 2008 the National Committee on Aging office and other departments jointly proposed "comprehensively promote home care service Work", this opinion clear that home care refers to the government and social forces relying on the community,providing life care, housekeeping services for the elderly at home, a service in the form of care and rehabilitation services and other aspects of spiritual solace. It should be said, promoting home care services for the increasingly sharp crack of pension service problems, and thus effectively improve the life of the majority of the elderly,quality of life, to find a good path.In recent years, home care services, though in some of our cities development more smoothly, while in rural areas, it is still at an early and exploratory stage, home care services for the elderly left behind in rural areas Experience and research results,is less and less. Obviously, with the existing home care way to explore the rural areas to promote home care services, in order to alleviate the problem of rural left-behind elderly pension, should arouse the whole society’s concern and attention.In this study, the village of Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province S and P village, for example, by preliminary investigations, to understand the local problems of the elderly home care and professional analysis of their needs, develop specific intervention programs, social work theory of science guidance, the use of group work,case work methods as the main intervention method for rural left-behind elderly home care issues intervene. After the service activity, respectively, the two clients then evaluate comparative analysis from different perspectives, compare the results obtained: through social work intervention, the level of service targets home care has improved, indicating that the elderly left behind in rural areas involved in social work home care is feasible, and to explore methods of social work in general left-behind elderly home care intervention. We are hoping to provide a method and practicalreference for rural left-behind elderly home care issues through the study.
