A Study On The Internationalization Of Local Colleges And Universities

With the fast development of economy, many countries in the world take Internationalization of High Education as an important national strategy. China, as the second largest economy of the world, also takes Internationalization of High Education as the ways to enhancing its competitiveness.Regional High Education Institutions are the main force in Chinese high education system for their large quantity. They make great contributions to the popularization of high education and personnel cultivation. By the guidance of the central government as well as the needs of their own development, Regional High Education Institutions had started their own process of internationalization. In the past decades, Regional High Education Institutions had many achievements. At same time, they were facing many problems and challenges from both outside and inside.This paper based on the concepts of Internationalization of High Education, studied the situation, problems and their causes of in the process of internationalization, and tried to find solutions for them. Compared with other study, this paper focused on the practical issues rather than theories and had its realistic significance.
