A Study Of Contemporary Chinese Charity Thought And Practice

Charity is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, its inherent bear with love, kindness, goodness, loving spirit; philanthropy is an important part of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the social security system, it is the ease social conflicts, promote social equity, an important force for the promotion of social harmony. In 2016, the National Five-Year Plan thirteen years, clearly put forward in support of social welfare and development charity, to help improve the old, disabled, child-friendly, for the social welfare system the poor focus, support professional development of social work and philanthropy, improves regular social donation mechanism.In the new century, in order to promote the healthy development of contemporary Chinese philanthropy, charitable foster public awareness and guide the public to embrace the idea of charity, to participate in charity to go, we need to study the basic theory of charity connotation and characteristics, recalling China development of philanthropy, to learn what the Chinese Communist Party to promote the development of philanthropy made, as well as to explore the future development of Chinese philanthropy Way. Therefore, this article is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction, this article discusses the general significance of the topic, background and main ideas. The second part, the interpretation of the basic concepts and features of charity and philanthropy, describes the development history of the Communist Party of China Charity Thought, an overview of the latest achievements in reform and opening up the Chinese Communist Party Thought charitable obtained; the third part, combined with recent years of philanthropy in the development of major social events, our analysis shows that the degree of public attention to the rising current charity, but at the same time, continued development of philanthropy is still faced with three major issues that must be addressed: strengthening philanthropy system security, improve credibility in the charity field, nurture and raise awareness of modern charity. The fourth part, based on the current development of our charity, to the need to build with Chinese characteristics modern concept of charity, and should improve the legal security, regulate the behavior of charitable organizations, charitable foster cultural point of view, the laying of the future development path of charity. Finally we made the conclusion, called on all members of the community to establish a caring, friendly, dedicated charity awareness, to develop public support, a new development of philanthropy Peoples participation.
