Besides, School grounds and other equipment and facilities are constantly improving, badminton teaching level also increased gradually, but in the process of rapid development, there have been some problems.Through literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other research methods, based on the teaching situation of Badminton Elective Courses in ten ordinary Universities in Shanghai, the article analyze the situation of teachers, teaching content, teaching methods, teaching environment and teaching effect,and make recommendations accordingly. Research indicates :1、Part of Badminton Elective Courses in Shanghai Normal Universities is welcome. Students have strong enthusiasm and interest in learning. Besides, the learning motivation is diversified, but the basic technical level is not high.2、badminton Curriculum of Shanghai universities are different, there are some issues in a short section of College class, for e.g. the teaching content is boring, the teaching hours is short, the teaching methods is simple and so on.The number of badminton gymnasium is Insufficient, which can not meet the needs. Most of the badminton gymnasiums are limited in free time. It is open to everyone and charged. In addition, most people in Shanghai are fond of sports activity. They find it difficult to get a ticket of badminton gymnasium.Teachers’ age structure is more reasonable, But there is a low degree, senior aging problem. Meanwhile badminton professional training of teachers is not enough, and Badminton teaching and research capacity needs to be improved, High level of professional badminton teacher is relatively scarce in Shanghai.
