Investigation And Analysis On The Present Situation Of Tennis Elective Courses In Colleges And Universities In Xinxiang Area

Tennis has a long history of development in the world,but its late development in China and weak domestic tennis infrastructure limit the development of tennis.Only in 1994 did China hold the first "national college tennis championship" for college students.Our country outstanding female tennis player on the international stage of superior performance,make domestic tennis boom after 2010 place,all over the country compete to hold the tennis tournament,television and Internet media publicity of tennis.Henan province tennis development atmosphere also gradually rising,tennis tournaments increase,not only for amateur tennis champions "henan",for college students in henan province "in henan province college students tennis tournament" scale is expanded year by year.The development of college tennis in xinxiang area is also in full swing in recent years.Tennis is popular among college students because of its super fun and elegant cultural connotation.Under the education concept of quality,physical education courses are valued,and college physical education elective courses have become an important way to cultivate college students’ lifelong physical education consciousness.Tennis elective courses in xinxiang area ordinary undergraduate college students participate in a major way of tennis,although the development scale expanded year by year,foundation is weak,but because the tennis in tennis elective course there are also many problems exposed in the process,affect tennis elective course of the development for a long time.For example,the site facilities are insufficient,the structure of the faculty is not reasonable,the teaching methods are not reasonable,and so on.In this paper,on the basis of field investigation,literature material law,questionnaire investigation and mathematical statistics,in xinxiang area ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities tennis elective curriculum present situation,the students’ cognitive status,the situation of teaching staff and facilities in the present study.Based on the survey data,analysis of xinxiang area tennis elective course of the ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities the status quo,summed up tennis elective xinxiang area ordinary undergraduate course colleges and universities,the main problems in and feasible tennis elective course to carry out the suggestion is put forward.The research results show that:1.The elective courses of tennis in colleges and universities in xinxiang area all have teaching syllabus and standard course guidance,but no teaching materials are provided.The choice of teaching content is reasonable,but there is no rationality in the choice of teaching method and evaluation standard.There are too many tennis elective classes.2.The age of tennis elective course teachers in colleges and universities in xinxiang area is mainly between 30 and 40 years old.All the teachers are male,80%of whom have graduate degrees,60% of whom have professional titles,and 60% of whom have less than 5 tennis teachers.3.Students’ participation motivation in tennis elective courses is mainly their interests and hobbies.Most tennis students "like" or "very like" tennis.The main ways for students to get tennis information are TV network and tennis class.4.Henan normal university has the largest number of tennis courts with 14 pieces,while henan institute of technology has the lowest number of tennis courts with only 4 pieces.60% of the teachers believe that the tennis court can basically meet the teaching requirements of tennis elective courses.Most of the equipment is Shared by schools and individuals.5.The main problems in the development of tennis elective courses in colleges and universities in xinxiang area are "insufficient facilities in the field" and "students’ insufficient understanding of tennis".Based on the above research results,the following Suggestions are proposed:1.Improve the construction of tennis court facilities;2.Optimize teaching methods and assessment methods;3.Strengthen the construction of teachers;4.Purchase of course materials;5.Strengthen the publicity of tennis and create a good campus tennis atmosphere.
