Along with the in-depth development of the new curriculum reform and quality education, great changes have taken place in middle school geography teaching method, the new curriculum idea advocated by teachers imparting knowledge into knowledge guide, students from passive recipients of knowledge into active builders.And situational teaching method to adapt to the current students independent,cooperative and inquiry learning style, and pay attention to the students’ active participation in curriculum reform advocates learning attitude, rather than by scores of heroes. Situational teaching method to improve the students learning interest and strengthen students memory of knowledge, deepen students understanding of geographical knowledge level, especially improving the students’ emotional attitude values play an important role. Paper adopted the method of combining theory and practice under the background of the curriculum standard, used the literature analysis,questionnaire survey method, case method and so on to analyze the situation of junior high school geography classroom teaching present situation and reason, based on this,advances the situation in junior high school geography classroom teaching establishment strategy and safeguard measures. The paper will be divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction part, mainly introduced the junior high school geography classroom situation teaching research background, significance, research status at home and abroad, on this basis to determine the main research content of this article.Part in the second part is the basic research, is to define the concept of situational teaching, geography situation teaching concept, the role and function of geographic situation teaching and explores the constructivism theory, humanism theory, migration theory, and its geography teaching theory of junior high school geography teaching the guiding significance of class situation.The third part is present situation investigation and analysis of the causes, mainly through the questionnaire used in junior middle school geography teaching class situation, and according to the data shows, to analyze the current problems of junior high school geography teaching class situation, in view of the problem, analyze the causes.The fourth part is the institution of junior high school geography situation teaching research and case analysis, taking the typical case of geography teachingsituation analysis, further deepening the research in this paper, the situation teaching,at the same time, based on the analysis of cases, combined with front creating principle and method, makes the study of this article discusses more seriously.The fifth part is the guarantee of junior high school geography classroom establishment situation teaching measures, respectively, from the department in charge of education, schools and teachers themselves guarantee measures are put forward. The last part is the conclusion of this study, illustrates the author in this study,in view of the middle school geography teaching situation of the implementation of the process of confusion and outlook, and expect to provide some guiding significance to the current geography teaching practice, for the current geography classroom teaching activities, adjustable Gao Xuesheng interest in learning, improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.
