Illustrations in textbooks is not only beneficial to teaching but also help students graspthe teaching material comprehensively.The study of the text is the backbone of Chinese teaching. How to improve reading teaching efficient. Improve the students’ reading efficiency is a primary subject in the basic education stage research.Illustration is like a mirror, can reflect the current social, record the change of human history and culture. Feng zikai once draw illustrations for lu xun’s novels. Such as "the village opera", "kong yiji" and so on. The combination of text and illustrations, is the tacit understanding of communication between master and master. Mr Feng zikai is Based on the creations of a thorough understanding of lu xun’s hometown,local people, customs and habits etc. For the needs of the development of plot, to the story vivid characterization, To facilitate students to the understanding of the works Mr Feng zikai created cartoon works for his works, Lu xun’s works had been elected to the textbooks enduring. But if the illustrations cannot be actively into the classroom,Are fully used in the Chinese reading Cannot play its value..The author thinks that it is necessary to discuss the application of detail illustrations in reading teaching.The introduction part clear the reasons to choose the topic frist, Introduce the domestic and foreign research status for textbook illustrations and The application of illustration in the reading teaching research.especially in recent years for junior middle school Chinese textbook illustration research literature,Simply introduces the research methods of this paper :The literature analysis, case analysis, interview investigation method and so on. The last is the research significance of this study. The significance of this study for Chinese reading teaching and research value, the innovation points of this paper.Besides preface and epilogue, paper main body is divided into four parts.The first part introduced Illustrations overview of Chinese textbooks for junior middle school, Compilation basis and value analysis. Including the characteristics of the meaning of the illustrations, illustration, the type of illustrations and distribution.secondly, experimental psychology basis and the students’ actual needs of psychological development is the Compilation basis.Value analysis is illustrated at last.The second part is illustrated the illustrations in the junior middle school language reading teaching the use of the status quo.First introduces illustrations usedin the practical teaching situation is worrying.the illustrations is Abandoned in the awkward situation.teachers and students ignored the illustrations role.it Is far from being excavated for auxiliary teaching function.We aimed at the status quo to analysis why Illustrations are ignored.The first is illustration in poor quality.Teachers’ understanding of illustrations,They rarely used in specific teaching situation,Students understanding of textbook illustrations.The third part is the textbook illustrations used in reading teaching Suggestions.The first section is the teacher’s preparation illustrations before class.The second section is teachers using illustrations in the teaching.The fourth part is illustrations in the junior middle school language reading teaching effect of the application of the investigation. Two classes as experimental group,Divided into pay attention to the use of illustrations, use less and never use three categories.analysis students’ interest in Chinese learning, Oral communication ability, the comprehension of the text analysis, composition level, etc...
