Objective:Based on the related references about physical exercise and academic performance、physical exercise and executive function as well as executive function and academic performance, this study uses literature data, experimental, mathematical statistics and other research methods with preventive measure of cumulative time for moderate-intensity physical activity to explore Grade Two junior students’executive function and academic performance for moderate-intensity physical activity in different time, and to further explore executive function in Physical training and academic achievement in the path analysis method. If researchers can prove that physical exercise has a positive role for academic performance, then the result is not only an effective basis to convince the school and parents of ensuring children’s physical activity time as well as providing theoretical reference for PE teachers in the teaching process.Subjects and Methods:On the principle of easier to get samples.the researchers choose 300 grade two junior students in five parallel classes in Yangzhou as subjects, then five classes are randomly divided into four experimental class and a control class by ballot manner.Using the same teacher to conduct a moderate-intensity physical activity interventions in different times. The experimental intervention lasts for 8 weeks. The academic performance and executive function are tested before and after the experiment, the latter is tested on computers. The testing results will be counted by single-factor variance analysis, multivariate variance analysis, repeated measures variance analysis.linear regression and bootstrap method (nonparametric percentile method) to investigate the effects of moderate-intensity physical activity in different times for junior students’academic performance and executive functions.and further explore the role of executive function in physical exercises and academic performance.Researching results:(1)Different time of moderate intensity exercise on junior middle school students perform whole function(F=3.373),suppression function (F=3.656)and conversion functions(F=2.622),has a significant effect(P<0.05),the refresh function(F=2.067)no significant effect(P=0.084>0.05).(2)Different time of moderate intensity exercise on junior middle school students academic achievement scores(F=0.601),Chinese(F=0.570),Mathematics(F=0.734)and English(F=0.406) had no significant effect(P>0.05)(3)Experiment 3 groups (LLCI=0.0221,ULCI=1.9572),experimental 4 groups(LLCI=0.1817,ULCI=2.5515)compared to the control group, executive function on academic achievement has significant indirect effect.Researching conclusions:(1)Different time of moderate intensity exercise can improve the inhibition function and transformation of junior middle school students. When intensity exercise time lasts more than 20 minutes, the effect is the best.(2)The relationship between physical exercise and academic performance was influenced by the experiment duration. The experimental period should be at least 8 weeks.(3)Executive function is one of the ways to influence the academic performance of physical exercise. In particular, the conversion function is significant.
