Mind map is created by a British scholar Buzan T in the early 1970 s. As a breakthrough system of learning and thinking, Mind map using visualization techniques enable our whole brain works completely, and they present knowledge to us in the form of visual image, characterize their association of knowledge and reflect students’ thinking process. In this thesis, the author attempts to use the mind map in the process of second round revision of biology in our grade three of senior high school, trying to find an effective way to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the revision work, so that the mind map method can be applied in biology teaching. The methods of literature consultation,educational experimentation, interview and investigation were adopted in the paper.In the process of experimental study, teachers enable students to build their own mind map in order that students can combine mind mapping with their biology revision and and students can set up efficient knowledge networks and systems in their study. According to the experiment, the statistical data of the pre-test and post-test show that: Compared to the contrast classes, the two experimental classes advanced significantly especially the regular class, which advanced even more significantly. The study shows: Mind Map is a highly effective method of review applied to second round revision of our senior high school biology, which can fully mobilize the students’ enthusiasm and initiative and improve the efficiency and results of students’ review work.
