This paper is about the research and development of network exercising and testing system for College English (Band 4). Such relevant aspects are thoroughly dealt with as the organization of various teaching activity, the management of Learning, network database and the supervision of the system. With the development of network technology and popularity of network, networked teaching has become more fashionable, so it is quite worthwhile for educators to consider how to develop more and better networked teaching resources. Accordingly, developed a network exercising and testing system. This paper also discusses the latest educational ideology and methodology and the methods, principles and systematic structure of developing network exercising and testing system, from the aspect of such matters as the development of CAl and network the structure of network teaching activities and the management system of learning, the functions of the system and the design and development of key techniques of the system.
