| A growing number of athletes who used to win glory and fame for our country have beensuffering from misery since retired over the past years.Directly,the standard of guarantee forthe retired athletes is concerned with the fact,whether more competitive sports talents aredelivered to the country constantly.However there do exist those problems in the real athletessecurity policy.In this background,it’s urgent that some measures proposed to improve theathletes security policy,so as to stimulate the development of competitive sports in China.This article aims to reflect the real problems in the athletes security policy and make anempirical analysis on the problems via an investigation of current athletes security policy,suchas an analysis of the eight types of athletes in training or playing in Liaoning province;In thelight of the existing problems in the athletes security policy,this article offers measures thatimprove the policy by a combination of theoretical study of developing social policy overseasand developing social policy to solve practical problems at home,besides it also refers to thesuccessful experience of domestic scholars solving problems from the perspective ofdeveloping policy.The results show that,more policy support ought to be given to the athletes from poorand minor families;and also we should consider the prevalent problem of education andinjuries with athletes with a long-term sight.With both aspects complemented,the athletes canturn their handicaps into advantages in the job, enjoy more suitable jobs catering to theirstrengths,hence laying a solid foundation for future development.From a perspective of developing social policy,a improvement of measures of athletessecurity policy should be taken from the following steps:letting the athletes grow up from agood growing environment;educating the athletes in training properly and trying to reduce theinjury;giving them a chance to plan their own future in time and treating the security athletespolicy as a rewarding investment,This article explores the path to improve the athletessecurity policy from those aspects. |
