The tremendous prosperity of India today in nationaleconomy, politics and society is largely owing to its advanced education aswell as great amount of first-rate talents, Investment of Indian educationhas some most typical characteristics and problems in its operation toother countries in the world, especially to the one of China's education.Although India has already attached much attention----human capital andmoney ---to education of all levels, its society is still hampered by'manytroubles of education investment. My thesis aims at making Chinamaximize those favorable factors of Indian education investment andminimize those unfavorable ones through comparing, analyzing the samefield of education between China and India, and eventually impels thereform and development of education in China.There are a few distinct traits in the investment of education in India asfollows: first, because of too low rate of investment, its elementaryeducation lacks of enough money to finish the first step of nationalcompulsory education, similar to China's, Second, the quality of highereducation is declining with the expansion of students though the fund isincreasing. There are Still more and more the unemployed and "braindrain'' The last one is the lower inner efficiency of education investmentand lower outer social benefit of it. All these exist in most of developingcountries including China in a way.The there consists of three parts. The first part enumerates the historystatus quo of education investment and respeCtve charaCteriStics ofdifferent historicaI periods in 1ndia and China. The second part compares,anaIyzes great data and grephs about education investment of sometypical countries in the wohd, therefOre iIluStrates the same probIems of,these tWo countries and dlgs out the p0tentiaI reasons. The last partdiscusses f the pOssible way \tQ, sOlve the China'S reIated problems throughusing fOrref6rence.
