Which reasons do the middle school students attribute their victory and failure of P. E learning to? Is there any relation between their attribution and achievement motivation? Using the questionnare of P. E. learning Attribution which is based on Weiner?s theory of Attribution , and Motivation Analyze and Test (MAAT), we inquired 623 middle school students (including four middle schooles, six grades, and twelve classes) in Dalian, and all the data were treated by statistical method. Using the method of principal analyze, we created the reasonable construction of attribution, which means four factor of victory attribution and five factor of failure attribution. The result of research showed that correlation existed between attribution and achievement motivation:the victory attribution and achievement motivation existed significant positive correlation, failure attribution and motivation existed negative correlation; the achievement motivation between victory and failure attribution existed significant difference; the correlation between internal attribution20and motivation was higher than the corre1ation between externa1 attributionand mot ivat ion. Based on these ana1yses, it proposed some re1at ive instruct iona1adv ices.
