Sino-us Educational Exchanges And Cooperation

Globalization is the great irreversable trend of the society in the 21st century. Educational exchange and cooperation among countries is the epitome of Educational Globalization. Sino ?American educational exchange and cooperation has been an important influential factor to the development of Educational Globalization. Investigating those theoretical studies related to educational exchange and cooperation in the past, we can find that they paid little attention to the cooperation of it and never studied it with the theory of Globalization. With the becoming of Educational Globalization, we can find many limitations of the artificially static studying pattern used in Comparative Education. In this paper, I focus on SinoAmerican Educational Exchange and Cooperation to study. I try to find some valuable viewpoints using the theory of Globalization.The paper consists of three parts. Part One is the history of Sino ?American Educational Exchange and Cooperation. Based on the climaxes of going abroad to study and the development of missionary schools, I think that there are six periods of it. What?s more, I have tried to summarize the major characteristics. Part Two is the current situation of it. I have analysed this social act from the five basic factors, such as subject, objection, content, condition and way. Part Three is the importance of it, the questions of it and the trend of it.
