Middle school basic chemistry theoretical knowledge is one of important part of chemistry curriculum. Its evolution makes a vital effect on middle school chemistry curriculum reform. In this thesis I have looked back on the evolution of middle school basic chemistry theoretical knowledge after liberation, and explored some laws governing its evolution in order to reveal the values and enlightenments for chemistry curriculum reform.Some scientific approaches are used such as historical approach, documentary approach and comparative approach and so forth. The development of basic theoretical knowledge is deeply affected by curriculum outlook and science outlook and knowledge outlook. The selection and organization of basic chemistry theoretical knowledge change because of the changes of ideas.I have stated how curriculum outlook and science outlook and knowledge outlook affect middle school basic chemistry theoretical knowledge.Under the direction of the above-mentioned ideas, the evolution of our middle school basic chemistry theoretical knowledge is divided into four phrases according to different theoretical clues and cores after liberation. Then, under the direction of the above-mentioned ideas, I have monographic studied on each constitutive part in order to explore the changes of selection and organization.On the basis of the previous parts, I have not only analyzed the development of basic chemistry theoretical knowledge from the perspective of its value orientation and selection and organization, but also put forward my own opinions. 1.The selection vision of basic theoretical knowledge changes from subject to science-technology-society and the contents of selection close to society and life. 2.Attach important to heuristics of the organization style and reflect the process and method ofIVscience research in order to carry on science process and science method and science attitude education. 3.Take into consideration the individuality discrepancy and increase the "branch" of basic theoretical knowledge in order to make every student development. I have further pointed out, on the one hand that we should optimize subject structure of basic theoretical knowledge, on the other hand that we should increase the opening of contents.
