E-learning has already become strong motive force of traditional educational pattern of reform .It breaks through the space-time limit, building up a pluralistic education system together with classroom education, broadcast education, video education. With one computer and equipment of access network, a person can study and train at any time. E-learning has unique functions: First, education resource-sharing; Second, individual learning environment; Third, interactive study; Fourth, education and learning socialization. Fifth, beyond the restriction of time and space; Sixth, the lower training and maintaining cost.At present, the existing E-learning forms based on network technology can afford the learning resource on the lower level, however, the range of sharing is beyond perfection, the basic solution is standardization, the standardization demand is from specification or standard organizations at home and abroad, realistic and potential stakeholders. The E-learning standardization will be one brand-new educational system model. Seen from extensive application, it will work in education, enterprise training , publicity fields and so on.I joined a company E-learning standard application research project since the end of 2001, as a key member, and participated in the whole process of developing and researching by the end of 2002, now products have been used and updated constantly.Our project focuses on application researching and industrialization. With the comparative and contrast research method among the international standards, the exploration of the inner link of standard formulation, we can improve our understanding of these standards and related organizations in order to apply precisely. With plenty of resource data , discussion, circulation and the method that trace to their source, wesee relevant standard system framework, and complete the research work of the standard. As a result, the earlier stage input was very meaningful, because it made the later standard application very easy, so the whole E-learning systematic design was gradually clear. After system design came out, along with some standard use-case application guidances, the following system design details would contribute to the set goal of project management.The structure of the thesis is as follows:* Preface* Chapter One -Survey of the education information technology* Chapter Two -The standard process and application meaning of the standard* Chapter Three -The framework of the LMS* Chapter Four- The R&D of the LMS* Conclusion* Main list of references* PostscriptThe preface introduces the domestic and international background of the project, the summary of the project process, and the choice of the thesis topic; Text parts are divided into four chapters altogether; The conclusion summarizes the project situation, and mentions the leftover problems, the further project direction. The content of every chapter of text separately is as follows:Chapter One, the survey of the education information technology, expounds the development of E-learning and that the method to solve E-learning realistic problems lies in standardization. Meanwhile, in the E-learning historical process, many domestic and international relevant organizations participate in the E-learning standardization work.Chapter Two is the standard process and application meaning of the standard. To apply the result better, this chapter introduces thestandardized tactics, the standard process ( Life Cycle), and how to make the standards.Chapter Three is the framework of the LMS, as a stakeholder of E-learning project, the standard application study is especially necessary, after understanding the IEEE LTSA and the related standards in detail, we can build up the standardization LMS framework from the LMS perspective.Chapter Four is the R&D of the LMS, introduces the concrete work of the E-learning project, on the basis of the standardization LMS framework and under the guidance of software engineering thoughts,...
