Lu Zuqian was a famous thinker, educator and historian in Qian Chun period of the Nan Song dynasty. He was called "three Sages of Southeast" together with Zhuxi and Zhangshi. He summarized various opinions without sectarian bias and formed prominent "Lu culture", which reflected the general direction of ideolotion trend in Nan Song dynasty. The Lu culture is highly regarded and has everlasting influence.In this paper, we analyzed and summarized Lu Zuqian's educational psychology. Chapter one starts with his fundamental educational psychology thoughts, examining the theories of "doctrine of good human nature" and "doctrine of acquirable knowledge". Chapter two explains the theory of learning psychology. He emphasized that learning is for practical use and the outcome of the learning depends on several non-intelligence factors such as humbleness, dedication, faith, and persistence. He also proposed a set of principles and methods for learning and had unique perspectives on reflection, teaching, history-learning, and daily-practice. In Chapter three, moral psychology is explored. He discussed the purpose of moral education and proposed to encourage self-examination, integrate knowledge and practice, promote good to encounter evil, and emphasize the environment for moral education. The last chapter involves the differential psychology and teachers' psychology. His most outstanding thought is for the teacher to walk the talk.
