University Of Technology Professionals Lean Mode Of Education Research

In the knowledge-based economy society,the competition between countries is strongly embodied through the competition of the number and quality of the talents of science and technology that every country owns. University is the key phase of the formation of talents of science and technology,because the quality of the talents (e.g the professional knowledge,skills and the ethics) that it train and brings up directly affects the success or failure of the competition.The educating and training of the talents of science and technology is also a production,so the methodology of the Lean Production (LP) in industry,which aims to banish waste and create wealth and is based on CE (the Current Engineering),strutted by three pillars named JIT(Just-in-Time),GT(Group Technology)and TQM(the Total Quality Management),offers the reference in idea and method for the universities. Based on the examining of the higher education and analyzing of the Lean Production,a new education model,lean education (LE),is discussed in succession.LE is supported by the new views of the Chinese higher education,the conformity of the educational resources and the reengineering of the higher education. It is chiefly strutted by three pillars:(l) design of module curriculum,which contributes to structure the rational system of curricula;(2) Just-in-Time of the implementing of instruction,which can improve the teaching efficiency;and (3) TQM of university,which would set up the Quality Guarantee System of talents of science and technology.
