The floating of peasant workers is one of the attractive social phenomena in the course of china's modernization at the end of 20th century and it is a hot issue concerned actively and researched profoundly by many sociologists. But many of them only combined theory and reality mechanically owing to limited visual angle. So, on the bases of former achievements, this article mainly concerns that peasant workers , as "borderline person in culture", who return home from other place in the Spring Festival in Feidong .The author pays attention to the changes that have happened to the peasant worker's spiritual world and tries to pose some constructive suggestions on the base of rethinking these changes.Through the investigation of peasant workers' social contacts, their entertainment style (including the celebration of customs and the leisure), economic activities (including contracts of land, disputes of debt and the programs of the family) and the affairs of love and marriage (including the range of marriage, the freedom of marriage, the standard in choosing a spouse and the form of wedding). The author finds that compared with ordinary peasants, many changes have taken place to peasant workers in their psychology, values and the pattern of thinking. We can find these changes are mainly in the following aspects: the strengthening of the universal principle, the enhancement of democratic consciousness, the improvement of the sense of risk and the self-recognition, etc.In the meantime, there exists some problems in the changes, however, that is, the new needs of peasant workers can't be fully satisfied, the current institution limit their development to a extent, it is difficult for the peasant workers to contact the quintessence of city's culture, the rural culture activities are not ample relatively. Due to these problems, the author thinks that we should focus on the daily life of these peasant workers in strategist height. On the one hand, we can adjust actively existing institutional systems and create a better environment of institution to help the peasant workers to make proper choices; on the other hand, we should develop the function of the rural fundamental organizations, and the arrangement of these peasant workers'activities should be involved in these organizations'working plan. During the Spring Festival, through carrying out kinds of ideological education, pre-employment service, vocational training and recreational and sports activities, the organizations can provide a good environment of culture and education in the rural community to realize their effective guide function for these peasant workers to improve their individual quality. From the enforcement of above suggestions, we think that the surplus labor of the rural community can realize reasonable transfer.
