Network-based Multimedia Teaching System

This paper briefly introduces the difference between of the traditional educational mode and the modern educational mode , and discusses that it is necessary to open the multimedia teaching on network, and analyzes the feasibility of developing a multimedia course ware and an online testing system on the current foundation of hardware environment.This paper primarily includes two part: " The computer culture basis" multimedia course ware and online testing system.Multimedia course ware includes the lesson navigation, content of course, and content of experiment, etc. All kinds of multimedia technology are integrated into this design , for example audio, video, and animation, etc, which makes the course ware to have the good teaching result. This paper focuses on the realizing method in detail which make use of all kinds of VB control and API function .Online testing system is based on the campus network, which developed by the technology of ASP. NET, VB.NET, SQL, and ADO. NET. This system is composed of test database maintenance module, test paper generating module, test module, etc. This system has the certain application value.
