This thesis has mainly discussed the following three questions. (1) the meaning of "problem Solving" and the rationality and necessity of emphasizing it in mathematics education , (2) the principal factors in "Problem Solving", (3) the teaching of "Problem Solving".Firstly, a brief introduction is given to the background of posing "Problem Solving". Then , questions'classification and different understandings of "Problem Solving" are discussed ,aiming at finding out the historical inevitability and internal rationality of emphasizing "Problem Solving" in mathematics teaching.The second question is trying to analyze in the procession of solving problems some influential factors, including knowledge basis , heuristic, control, belief and so on, which together establish a comparatively a complete theory framework on "Problem Solving" behavior analysis.Finally, some concrete means of practicing "Problem Solving" in China's mathematics teaching are discussed. By meditating on the teaching of "Problem Solving", I put forward my personal viewpoints and proposals in respect of "Posing Problems" and "Problem Solving".
