Theory of instruction reflects rationally the word of instruction and is a systematically rational-knowledge about phenomena of teaching and learning. Origination and development of theory of instruction follow the internal logical processes and subject mechanism. At the same time, theory of instruction that is imbued with history and traditions adhere to national culture. Therefore, originating of theory of instruction and reconstructing nationally provide the developing of theory the sources and the motive forces.The article approaches preliminarily the questions of origination in theory of instruction in four aspects, including the essence of original theory of instruction, the main spheres of research in original theory of instruction, discerning typologically the characteristics of the original theory of instruction, depicting prospect of the original theory of instruction in China in near future.Researching originally in theory of instruction is designed to define the origin in generating theory, the systematization in reconstructing theory and the continuity of theoretical tree as essential aspects, by analyzing originality of theory of instruction. With introspecting the developing and changing in theory of instruction in China, the article considers that implantation and attachment are reason why in China theory of instruction has poor original capacity since modern times, and points out the present condition of theory of instruction in China.Following the analyzing and based on originality of theory, from a angle of view of philosophy of science, in regard to theoretical basis, methodology, and theoretical structure, the author gives a general picture of the original theory of instruction in other countries, and thinks of it as "stones from other hills" that increases the originality capacity of theory of instruction in China, in accordance with the above view, sketches the contours of the paths into generating originally theory of instruction in China, holds that reconstructing medio-theory of instruction is one of feasible orientations of research in theory of teaching and learning in China in future.
