"Teaching by way of linguistic sense" is a "focus" in Chinese teaching. In this article, I probed into the psychological factors and process of middle-school students' forming linguistic sense of chapter and the character the level the function of middle-school students' linguistic sense of chapter. Based on this discussion I posed my own viewpoint and advocacy according to the status of middle-school students' linguistic sense of chapter in Chinese teaching of middleschool and according to the principles and strategies which should beadopted by us on fostering middle-school students' linguistic sense of chapter.The article can be divided into seven sections.Introduction: To discuss the necessity of reform of "Linguistic sense of chapter of the middle-school students'".The first section: To analyze the concept of the "linguistic sense'' and "linguistic sense of chapter".The second section: To analyze the psychological factors and process of the middle-school students' forming linguistic sense of chapter. It based on the characteristic of students' psychological.The third section: To analyze the characteristic of the linguistic sense of chapter for exploiting it better.The fourth section: To probe the level and function of the linguistic sense of chapter for fostering students' linguistic sense of chapter by way of Chinese teaching.The fifth section: emphasize to probe the principles and methods of fostering the students' linguistic sense of chapter and the position of the students' linguistic sense in the Chinese teaching of middle school.The end: look into the distance of teaching by way of linguistic sense of chapter.
