According to the general law and characteristics of the development of teenager's body and mind, sensitive education in the elementary education stage refers to, during the course of teaching procedure, the teachers use a definite tactic or method to cultivate the teenage student's social sensitive quality and to promote the development and perfectibility of personality.The teachers should attach much importance to sensitive education for the students, as it is not only the requirement of the times, but also the necessary requirement of the development in elementary education. The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization put forward four proposals for school education: learning to know, learning to do, learning to be, learning to live together which is also the concrete requirement for school education. But for quite some time, influenced by exam-oriented education and the present evaluation system of education, teachers attach much importance to cognitive education but sensitive education is overlooked. As a result, this makes it difficult for students to do further study and hinders the development of the students in their later lives.The future society will need more and more highly qualified persons. A talented person should not only have proper knowledge but also sensibility and attitude. Based on the theory of scientific psychology, pedagogy and educational psychology, this research explores the important roles that one's emotion and sensibility plays on the students further studies and development. So it is imperative to change teachers viewpoint and to carry out sensitive education, that is, to love and respect the students. The tendency to develop elementary education is the amalgamation of sensitive education and cognitive education.This research includes four parts: the advancing of sensitive education; the modem idea of sensitive education; the tactics of performing sensitive education and the tendency to develop elementary education- the amalgamation of sensitive education and cognitive education.
