The educational aims-Human Beings' All-round Development-play an important role in the domain of educational theories in China. It has been long believed that they are both the starting point and destination of educational activities. But the educational practice is much different from the theories. So, to carry out the studies on how the national educational aims can be realized is as important as to the studies on what the educational aims should be.There are many factors influencing the realization of the national educational aims, such as the extrinsic factors in society and the intrinsic factors in education system itself, and also some other factors in the educational theories should be included. The paper generalizes them as the concept alienation, the unscientific problems in the making process, unrealistic problems in their contents, and some other problems in their implementation.About concept alienation, the paper discuss about the nature of educational aims, especially trying to probe what the bearers of educational aims should be. Comparing the ones in prevailing educational theories, we can learn what the alienation will result in. The analysis on the problems in their making process is to help us summarize what kinds of principles to be obeyed and be more scientific about their making. Both of them are necessary conditions influencing the realization of national educational aims. The analysis on the contents of the educational aims mainly discuss about the feasibilities and the abilities of its bearer. The analysis on the problems in their implementation shows alienation is unavoidable, but the alienation's degree depends on the former factors. The problems in their contents and implementation are sufficient conditions for the realization of national educational aims.Based on their reasons of the problems, the paper provides 4 proposals accordingly: 1.giving right explanations of national educational aims; 2.being more scientific in their drawing up; 3.correctly understanding the adequate responsibilities of schools in education; 4.paying more attention to the education of teachers in educational aims, enabling them to be realized better.
