The key issue of education reform is curriculum reform,and the key issue of curriculum reform is curriculum implementation.The 2017 "Compulsory Education Primary School Science Curriculum Standards" takes the cultivation of primary school students 'scientific literacy as the goal of primary school science curriculum,and advocates the curriculum implementation concept of students' independent inquiry.However,judging from the literature and field research,many schools cannot implement the requirements of the curriculum standards during the implementation of elementary school science curriculum.Do elementary school science teachers follow the philosophy advocated by the curriculum standards during their teaching?What are the factors influencing the implementation of science curriculum in primary schools?What problems face the implementation of elementary school science curriculum urgently to be resolved?These questions have not been answered well.It has been 12 years since STEAM education was introduced to China in 2007.During this period,China also explored the localization of STEAM education in theoretical and practical research.At the theoretical level,from the perspective of constructivism and situational cognition theory,it can be seen that STEAM education and the elementary school science education have a theoretical basis that is compatible with each other,the implementation of the elementary school science curriculum can be seen as the realization of the STEAM education concept.At the practical level,STEAM education emphasizes project-based learning and problem-based learning,while elementary school science curriculum emphasizes autonomous inquiry-based learning.The two hold a common educational perspective,talent perspective and knowledge perspective at the practical level,emphasizing the integration of subject knowledge and the cultivation of innovative talents for the future.Therefore,this article takes the implementation of elementary school science curriculum as the research object,starting from the subject of the course implementation-the teacher,in-depth exploration of the implementation status of elementary school science teacher,systematically analyzing its influencing factors,and exploring the difficulties faced by the implementation of elementary sciencecurriculum.Under the background of STEAM education,strategies for the implementation of elementary school science curriculum are planned.The research found that,lead by the interaction theory and the loyal orientation of curriculum implementation,based on the interaction between primary school science teacher curriculum implementation and the new curriculum standards of primary school science curriculum,it is feasible to develop scale tools to measure the status of primary school science curriculum implementation.The results of the study show that the implementation of teachers is generally at the upper middle level measured by the status of primary school science,and there are still some differences from the requirements of primary school science curriculum standards.There are significant differences in the implementation status of the curriculum of primary school science teachers with different demographic backgrounds(gender,full-time,class teacher,science teaching age,etc.).In terms of influencing factors in curriculum implementation,it was found that the factors that affect the implementation of elementary school science curriculum come from many aspects and angles,which can be roughly divided into curriculum factors,teacher factors,school factors and social environment factors.According to the conclusion of the study,based on the consistency of STEAM education and elementary school science curriculum,this article plans to promote the implementation of elementary school science curriculum as follows:first,improve the professionalism level of elementary school science teachers;second,increase the importance of school principals;third,Reform the evaluation system of primary school science curriculum;Fourth,the society should cooperate to improve the implementation level of primary school science curriculum.
