The time between the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of Minguo Dynasty is the special epoch of Chinese Aesthetic Education Thoughts' development, that is to say, it is Chinese Modern Aesthetic Education' s inchoate epoch. The aesthetic education thought of that time wanted to get rid of the disadvantages of the Back' s and obtain the advantages from Occidental' s. Chinese social crisis made many people find ways to save our country, Aesthetic Education is the one that they found. Between this special time, the people were too many who saved our social, our education and our revolution through aesthetic education. From Kang Youwei Liang Qichao Wang Guowei to Cai Yuanpei Lu Xun Wang Tongzhao Zhou Lingsun, all of them brought forward their aesthetic educational theories and led a lot of activities, this actively embodied the familiarity of aesthetic education at that time, left behind abundant and accurate aesthetic educational experience.Firstly, this experience is embodied on the characters of aesthetic education and the status of aesthetic education. The great masters of that time divided the utility and the exceeding utility of aesthetic education. All the great masters had different ideas on the characters of aesthetic education. At that time, there were a few theories about aesthetic education could save our nation, Cai Yuanpei had supposed that aesthetic education could take the place of religion. All these theories were wrong. In the decrees during that time, there are many aesthetic educational decrees which embodied the influence of aesthetic education thoughts.Secondly, this experience is embodied on the functions of aesthetic education. Many educationists had their own ideas on this question, such as on its social function economic function cultural function psychologically educational function moral function and its enhancing students' creativity.In the end, this experience is embodied on how to implement aesthetic education. The educationists of that time had searched on it consciously, brought forward many good ideas, so that it can guarantee the aesthetic education' s popularity.Aesthetic education thoughts of that time gave us information on how to improve ourselves, especially on spirit civilization construction and quality education.
