Providing for the aged, especially in country, is one of the important problems in the development of the economy and the society which need badly to solve, and the tide of the rural labor makes the problem more complicated in the situation of the aging of population which we meet. So a study of the providing for the aged confronted with the tide of the rural labor has been an important question in our society including academic circles.The increasingly protruding problem of providing for the aged in country has caused the close attention in the society. But compared with the providing for the aged in town, the study of this problem is weak in quality and quantity. Even if in the academic books on the guarantee provided for the aged in country, scholars paid more or less attention to it.I chose the subject of providing for the aged in this background in the hope of studying the vicissitudes of the guarantee provided for the aged in country, analyzing the changes, discussing the influence of the tide of the rural labor and providing the policy suggestion from the view of the tide of the rural labor.We will discuss the subject in the eight chapters as follow:Chapter 1 is to bring up the question in combination of reviewing the relative study, raise the subject and content of my study, then explain the principle of my choosing the site of investigation and the approach of collecting data.Chapter 2 is introduction of the area inquired. First it will deal with the basic characteristic here, then the basic traits of traditionally providing for the aged at DongZhen, finally the situation of the labor shift at DongZhen.Chapter 3 is to analyse the influence of the labor shift to the providing for the aged in country in view of the economy providing. It mainly includes the weakness of land's providing for the aged and the function protruding of the labor shift to raise family income and prompt the country economy.Chapter 4 is to discuss the influence of the labor shift to the familyprovides for the aged from the view of the daily care and spirit console. The labor shift bring up positive affect such as the showing of the aged offer and the releasing of the relation between mothers and daughters-in-law, but the negative influences play a main role.Chapter 5 is discussing the influence of the labor shift to providing for the aged in country in view of the culture . It mainly means the labor shift leads to the increasing descent of influence of the family culture, fealty, and thought of procreating.Chapter 6 is discussing the influence of the labor shift to the society through the mode provided for the aged. The labor shift caused the need of the pension insurance system and create the condition for it, at the same time made the individual's self-security more widespread, the mode provided for the aged in country more multi-aspect.Chapter 7 is discussing the influence of the labor shift to the providing for the aged in country from the environment.
