With the aged tendency of village population in China becoming more and more serious, the demands for guaranteeing the aged are increasing urgently.Carrying out surveys on the status quo of providing for the aged in villages and searching after fundamental countermeasures in order to face the challenges of ageing of population in the new century has become a problem to be solved and hot spots of society and government of today.Using many experts' research findings as a source of reference, first, this thesis makes an analysis of the aged tendency in village population, then probe into the causes for the status quo with their characteristics, especially into the impact and effect of the aged tendency in village population on guaranteeing the aged in villages, both of which lay a solid foundation for studying how to guarantee the aged in villages.Then, looking back upon the history of guaranteeing the aged, referring to the latest statistical data, analyzing the status quo of guaranteeing the aged, exploring its causes for the status quo, this thesis draws a conclusion: the aged tendency in village population having a series of impact and effect on guaranteeing the aged in villages, traditional development strategy should be changed, legislation should be constituted and completed, farmers' earning should be increased significantly and traditional culture and civilization of respecting the aged should be cultivated and developed, in a word, a new dynamic multidimensional pattern of guaranteeing the aged which adapts to the situation of china is expected to be set up urgently.
