| Gender research has been out of sight of mainstream theories. Feminism leads us to realize such inequity in education. This paper tries to find some strategies for equity in education, through describing and summarizing theories in feminism and through introducing and analyzing inequity in education.It is composed of four parts:Chapter 1 tries to trace back the origin theory sources in gender research. The main theories and their core ideas are displayed, which includes 1iberal feminism, radical feminism, maternal feminism and socialist feminism.Chapter 2 mainly introduces relational epistemologies to gender research: post structural feminism and standpoint theory. In the following, it analyzes the question of gender in education, which focusing on gender socialization in school.Chapter 3 shows some aspects in gender inequity in education of curriculum (discipline), textbooks, teachers and their teaching: the male standpoint in curriculum (discipline), the inappropriate rate of male and female in textbooks and the fixed gender impression in teaching.Chapter 4 gives the strategies in solving inequity in education by consideration: female standpoint in discipline choice, female perspective in curriculum development, female role in textbooks, female voice in class teaching.The paper analyzes different feminism theories in sociological education by literature approach. It tells the way to equity in education by reflecting educational facts. |
