Politics is one of the leading curriculum patterns in moral education in domestic schools, but its low efficiency has become an indisputable fact. Poor quality and low efficiency of moral education covered by politics in junior high school have various reasons. The essence of the issue should be grasped for true settlement of the issue. Actually the process of moral education is an education activity in which teachers actively pass on theories and viewpoints to students. The process of moral education is also that education activity is bound up and integrates with the acceptance activity in which students actively choose, absorb and accept the educational contents. Whether the requirements of moral education can be put into effect finally is dependent on the availability of the acceptance activity of students. Therefore, to improve politics teaching in junior high school and exploit its function of moral education, we should take the acceptance of moral education as the point of departure to realize the all-round improvement in the availability of the acceptance of politics in junior high school. The paper tries to start with this point, blazing a new trail in practice of moral education.The paper is composed of four parts. In the first part, I analyze the connotation of the availability of the acceptance of politics; in the second part, I dissect the necessity to heighten the availability of politics in junior high school; in the third part, I investigate and analyze the key factors which affect the availability of the acceptance of politics in junior high school, including the passive attitude of students towards studying, lack of the contents of textbooks, out-of-date teaching methods, monotonous evaluating methods, inadequate quality of teachers and the negative influence caused by family and social environment; in the fourth part, I explore the countermeasures to heighten the availability of the acceptance of politics in junior high school, starting with six aspects, that is, inducement of mind-set on active study; optimization of contents and system of politics textbook; overall restructuring of teaching methods ofpolitics; structuring of new evaluating system; improvement of politics teachers' basic quality; development of joint forces of school, family and social education, put forward a set of systematic scheme with the character of easy operation.In brief, based on integration of theory with practice, the paper tries to explore a set of systematic strategies for improvement of the availability of the acceptance of politics in junior high school, making moral function of politics really implemented. It is also the purpose of the paper to make the special and due advantages of the subject exploited to the full in moral education of school.
