Private Higher Education, Practice And Reflection

Based on the development experience of Shanghai private higher education during the past decade, this article aims to explore the theoretical and practical issues in this field and offers some suggestions on further development under new conditions. Chapter 1 overviews the history of private higher education development in Shanghai, analyzing its social background and features differing from other provinces.Chapter 2 focuses on the problems that need to be resolved be resolved in contingent development of private higher education. The causes of these problems and their influence on the further development of private higher education are explored to show the importance and urgency of resolving them.In Chapter 3, the ways and strategies are suggested for the further development of private higher education. As the core section of the article, it resolves the problems raised in previous chapter. In special perspective of an administrator of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and on basis of author knowing well in the development of every private college in College in Shanghai, this article tries to go beyond the general research. It aims to explore some potential issues that have not been covered or not been deeply explored, and then offer some practical strategies to resolve the problems from the contingent development point of view.
