Four parts are involved in this essay. In the first part, it gives the definition of creative thinking, and clarifies the relationship of two important modes of creative thinking, that is the collective thinking and the volatilizable thinking. In the second part, it reviews the general research achievement of the creative thinking teaching at home and abroad, it also introduces some modes of creative thinking teaching at home and abroad and the effect and evaluation of teaching experiments, and points out some existent problems. The third part and the fourth part are the most important parts in the essay. In the third part, it analyzes the actuality in our country of the development of students' creative thinking in the biology teaching. The essay not only summarizes the subjective factors and the objective factors which hinder the development of creative thinking in our biology teaching, but also indicates the advantage to develop the creative thinking in biology teaching. In the last part, surrounding the biology creative thinking and its' training, it makes a concrete and comprehensive analysis. First of all, it demonstrates the intention of creative thinking in biology, and analyzes the physiological foundation and psychological foundation of it, then illustrates the procreant process. Meanwhile, it concludes some elementary teaching principles to train creative thinking. The research is focused on discussing how to improve on the traditional biology teaching course, which consists of preparing lessons, starting teaching, organizing learning, arranging homework, evaluating on learning and so on.
