| University students' views of job selection are formed in the process o f learning and practicing during university years. They are the combination ofthe attitudes to, the relatively stable ideas and the basic instruction thoughts of choosing professions. As a summing-up, we can analyze these views in thr ee aspects. In form, these views consist of students' opinion, belief, faith andideal for choosing jobs, shown in various ways; In content, the views have r eflected the subjects' fundamental position, needs, interests, as well as the sub jective features in realizing the interests, the necessary abilities and activities. They are also the mental system of goals, which exists centering on what to believe, what to pursue and what to realize; In function, the views work as acriterion in students' mind for judgment, to decide the quality of the professi on and the value of the careers chosen.The contemporary university students' views of job selection are in a trans itional period when the new replaces the old, with the coming collapse of theold views and the weak establishment of new ones. The negative elements are as follows: The weak sense of social value, the conspic uousness of utilitarianism, the descending sense of contribution in profession, t he lingering hope for higher goal, and the shortage of credibility, reflecting a series of contradictory psychology.
