Social Transformation Of Teacher Personality

Having characteristics of education, apotheosis, perfection and nobility, teacher's personality is playing important role in perfecting student's personality, making the relation of educations in line and forming a well social fashion. However, the social transition heavily affected the development of teacher's personality. The original intention and significance of this article exist mainly in answering three questions that are wondering people. The first is what affections caused by the social transition are to teacher's personality; the second is what kinds of personality teachers must have to ensure that teachers can perform well in the development of society and the process of education; the third is how to figure teacher's personalities to improve the whole quality of teachers, as well as to serve for cultivating erectors of socialism of the new era. The questions listed above are discussed in this article based on the era background of the social transition.This article comprises five parts.A summarization of teacher's personality is presented in the first part. This part probes mainly into the personality exploration, as well as the idea, meaning, characteristic and the role of teacher's personality in Chinese history.In the second part, the restrictions of forming and developing teacher's personality are described. First, the definition of Chinese social transition is presented; then, the challenges put forward by social transition to teacher's personality are described; next, the affections on teacher's personality by social transition are analyzed and finally, a summarization on teacher's personality expanded by social transition is presented.In the forth part, the demanded teacher's personality of the era or social transition is demonstrated. This part is started with the demands of social transition to teachers and analyzed two aspects including the demands of social transition to teachers and the coming development of teacher's personality. As a result, five kinds of teacher's personality demanded in the era of social transition are yielded, i.e. teacher's healthy personality, teacher's independence personality, teacher's creative personality, teacher's intelligent personality and teacher's moral personality.The fifth part probes into the problem of figuring the teacher's personality in the era of social transition. This part discusses five aspects including the necessity of figuring teacher's personality, the main mechanism of forming teacher's personality, the principle of figuring teacher's personality, the approaches of figuring teacher's personality and some problems need to be noticed in the course of figuring teacher's personality.There are two main innovations in this article:1. The concept of teacher's personality is newly defined, the teacher's view of professional value is brought into the elements of teacher's personality, thereby standing out the immanent power of teacher's personality.2. The intelligence factors of teacher's personality are emphasized, teacher's independence personality, teacher's creative personality and teacher's intelligent personality are discussed as essential personalities of teachers in the social transition.
