| The studies on Teaching by PIB Active Reading are an endeavor intended to break the restraints of the conventional teaching mode and change the way in which students learn, n the light of the latest course theories and an advanced teaching concept. This endeavor emphasizes students find and solve problems in reading by themselves with the guidance of teachers and consequently develop their independence self motivation and creativity.Combined with her experience in the high school Chinese Reading Teaching Reform at Harbin No.6 Middle School, the author pinpoints the significance and reasons of Teaching by PBL Active Reading elucidates its contents and its objectives, explains how it is constructed, analyses the factors which may influence its execution, and discusses how it operates and its practical results. Trying to jump out of the restraints of the restraints of the conventional teaching mode, the author integrates the psychological, pedagogical and reading theories in the practice of Teaching by PBL, Active Reading, thus drawing the attention of the counterparts to the studies on the theory and practice of Teaching by PBL Active Reading. It will help to provide a feasible way of constructing a Teaching by PBL Active Reading not only for Chinese teaching but also for other subjects. |
